Dedicated to the memory of Sian Davies

This site is a tribute to Sian Davies, who was born in Wrexham on July 16, 1961.

She was loved immensely by her family and friends.

A respected professional, she was a proud social worker who spent her life advocating for some of the most vulnerable members of society.

Sian was brave, passionate, and committed to social justice.

She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.

Thoughts

Sian was so clever and I loved having long discussions with her about social work, crime, politics, world development, psychology, economics, media and religion. But for all our combined minds & knowledge - we still couldnt understand Men! 😉 Im sorry Sian never found a loving life partner, but she told me that on Jersey, at last, she had found " her Tribe" May she find eternal and unconditional Love in Heaven. Bless you my friend. 🌹

Sian , I met you in 2018 through work, I don’t remember our first meeting but I do remember we instantly shared a deep bond. I was drawn to your character; a strong, vibrant, tour de force with a very naughty sense of humour and a fabulous giggle!! You love people, especially getting beneath the bonnet and truly getting to know someone. That’s why you don’t just ‘do’ social work, you are, in your very essence, a social worker. Always championing the underdog, being the voice of the discriminated. Sian, for me you are my friend, my other sister. And like true sisters, sometimes we irritated each other! We share some similar experiences that mean we see each other. I am going to miss you immensely, your laughter, passion, your funny quirks “I dont eat seafood/drink wine…..I’ll have the prawn cocktail/malbec”!, our political debates and hours long phone calls, I’ll miss I no longer have that friend that I give an earlier meeting time to, to ensure you rock up on time❤️ I miss you, I love you, you could never be forgotten Xx
