At the beach in Jersey

Mum was very much a creature of the sun and loved spending time at the beach. I took this photo of her when I first visited Jersey in the summer of 2018. She had a great time driving me round to all of the different beaches she'd discovered. Seeing her so happy made me happy. Over the next five years, she not only grew attached to the island itself but the people on it. She made some really great friends in Jersey and felt like she'd found her 'tribe'.
